About Eryn

How I came to heal myself

I left the United States with a one-way ticket to India at age 36 determined to find a better version of myself. I didn’t feel right. I didn’t feel whole. I was broken, in deep despair and exhausted from the depression that consumed me for decades.

Somehow, I harnessed the courage and strength to embark on a worldwide quest for healing; I was traveling outwardly but I was really traveling inward. Over the following 28 months I immersed myself in healing traditions and practices from all corners of the globe. My experiences and transformation propelled a paradigm shift within, leading me to a completely new outlook on life. I now live from a place of purpose and meaning, and I’ve designed my entire life around fostering and maintaining mental health, both for myself and for others.

What came from this inward and outward quest was my book, Facing Freedom.

Facing Freedom

Facing Freedom takes you through the meandering cathartic trek of solo female travel over 28 months and 5 continents. You’ll read, not only about my personal journey but I also offer an integrated practice where you’ll have the opportunity to travel inwardly navigating the path towards your highest self.  Read more.

Adding the Academic Framework

After the hype of launching my book, I found myself longing to better understand my massive transformation. I had all this experiential knowledge but what did it mean? And how would I bring it forward to help others? How could I make sense of it all? I was a completely changed person, how on earth did that happen? I needed to understand this!

I enrolled in a master’s degree in Consciousness Studies, Spirituality and Transpersonal Psychology and am currently entering my third and final year. What a blessing it’s been to bring structure and academic knowledge to the intensive transformation I experienced. I am also a certified life coach and MARI© practitioner.

Path of Integration

Now it’s time to give back to others. I’ve been 7 long years exploring the shadow, as my favorite Carl Jung would call it. What a blessing to understand the nature of the mind more deeply and to know that I am in control of my destiny. Jung famously said, “until you make the unconscious, conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate”. For anyone who struggles with depression or mental well-being I think you will resonate with that sentiment. It can feel beyond us to tackle the depths of our darkness and it’s easy to get stuck saying, this is just who I am, this is my fate. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You’re more powerful than you think.

Let’s explore together the unconscious patterns and processes that have been ruling you. After all, aren’t you the most important project in your life? If we don’t have this area of life sorted out then it impacts every other single aspect of our lives! What else could be more important than your own well-being?

If you’re ready to prioritize your own mental and emotional well-being, then step onto the path of healing. Empower yourself to turn the tides in your life.

Intention + Choice = Positive Action
